Synchronize by vikasComment: Great visual lines in this composition. Fantastic B&W tones! The man climbing the stairs can be seen as a conceptual piece on climbing the corporate/social ladder, reaching a goal/achievement (by getting to the top) or climbing the stairs of life where every floor is a life stage. |

A Fisherman's Tale by MAKComment: Mak this is a stunning shot! Absolutely love the B&W tones for it really calls attention to all the textures and the years that this boat wears tells a story of life being lived. For now this fisherman's boat lays calm, nestled in a sea of rolling hills. Though weathered it still looks seaworthy as it lies patiently waiting for the next adventure on open water. Wonderful work and congrats on the Red!!! |

Back in the day there was this guy ... by ColeyComment: The return of the umbrella man, the road traveled and the VW bus! Fantastic B&W Coley - love this bit of reflective whimsy. The umbrella man may be reflecting back on the road he has traveled, but his set of wheels complete with peace symbol & flowers is turned in the direction of the road ahead as if to promising that fun lies ahead wherever your whimsy decides to travel. Congrats on the Blue! |

Sidewalk Encounter by LydiaComment: What an adorable portrait of this curious dog exploring his world. The frog looks a little exasperated - i.e. "Sigh, not the sniffer again" Grats on the blue Lydia!!! |

Sheep Racingby P-A-U-LComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Love this capture of the action and the race! What makes this a joy to 'watch' is the young boy just off to the side sporting a laughing face and calling our attention to the sheer silliness by pointing to the racing sheep. It is there that I noticed the extra detail I missed - which is that there is a cabbage patch doll in the leaping sheep's saddle. I see that some of the other sheep also bear doll riders. It must have been a fun day! |

Castellammare del Golfo by annigComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Great aerial shot showing off all the overhead details of the is city seaport. The city shoreline emerges out from the top left corner to cross the frame, curve around and then spread out in the lower bottom half to show the buildings of the city and the boats in the harbor. |

Great stage shot that shows how challenging it can be to get all these little girls to co-operate by smiling and holding the pose for the camera. You have the ones who are smiling and holding the pose but then comes the amused realization that not all are smiling in perfect unison. But then, the expressions and poses here are priceless and makes it all the more interesting. There is one ballerina holding her hands to her ears to ward off a sonic boom that may or may not happen. Then there is the other little girl 4th left that is taking hold and pushing away the other little ballerina's hand who has her arm out in full point mode all the while hamming it up for the camera. |

That's the pointby hajekaComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
The balcony of this building juts out and calls my eye's attention to it; most especially the point at which it ends. It is then that I take notice of the two lone people seated at different tables. They sit apart and facing away from each other. Give the title I see this as a social commentary piece where the architectural lines point to the lack of communication lines. In this case, the man and the woman are not communicating. They are disengaged and perhaps too much socially engaged with remote people online through smart phones. |

throttle-wattledby posthumousComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
It is full throttle on the waddle down at the stables. Children are masters of the funny walks and outright silliness. She is in full joy mode and happy. She doesn't need to run the track like the horses do; she just is out to have fun and make us smile while we observe her happy jaunt |
