I was standing in the back at my daughters recital with my zoom. I was suprised it came out as good as it did, as i was so far away. They were just too cute not to share this one! ;)

Great stage shot that shows how challenging it can be to get all these little girls to co-operate by smiling and holding the pose for the camera. You have the ones who are smiling and holding the pose but then comes the amused realization that not all are smiling in perfect unison. But then, the expressions and poses here are priceless and makes it all the more interesting. There is one ballerina holding her hands to her ears to ward off a sonic boom that may or may not happen. Then there is the other little girl 4th left that is taking hold and pushing away the other little ballerina's hand who has her arm out in full point mode all the while hamming it up for the camera.
