Feel the Powerby MinsoPhotoComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment now.
The deadly 'stare' goes well with the palpable crackle of power gathering in his hands. Love the other little detail here...instead of a cape you have the trenchcoat! This captures the comic bookie/movie type superpower very well....should do well and be in the top 10. |

Tail's tale by MelethiaComment: Look at you Deb! You have been smashing through your competition in the BOYA side challenge. I love the textures and detail seen in the tail and fish scales. To have the tail extent out of the bottom right corner in a square crop was an excellent decision for it calls the eye's attention to all the shapes, texture, and details. |

Deserted in the Storm by MargaretNetComment: Holy Moly, Margaret you are on a tear. Had you &I faced off in the first round of BYOA challenge with this challenge, you would have definitely Wack A Moled my entry:-) I found that the brooding sky and the moody sea paired with the empty bench is what truly makes this shot exceptional in the mood projected. |

The Birdcage by vawendyComment: Patience, persistence, and creativity are a powerful mix. Congrats on the blue Wendy - very well deserved. Love the symbology of freedom/empty that resonates in the image and the action of flight. |

Torres del Paine by dragonladyComment: I did not get to leave a comment during voting but I will leave one now.
My first reaction: Oh...my........
This is absolutely breathtaking. The way the light falls on the mountains and illuminates the scenery. It is magical and mystical moment that can now be forever enjoyed. Great work, congrats on the blue. |

A More Interesting Articleby mrchhasComment: Ha, I had a similiar idea. Glad that I went with my other of three ideas as that now your's can have the full spotlight. I love the 'casual' glance of the men as they pretend to read the newspaper (Nope, not me I'm not looking at her, I'm just ah reading this article...yeah) I do like the detail of the shirt the woman is wearing "Boyfriend Season is Here". The question becomes who is 'scoping out' who - the lady or the men? She has a smirk/smile on her face that projects to me that she 'knows' that they are checking her out...which is exactly where she wants them. Just noticed another little detail - "Prime Mare" is the headline on one of the newspapers. That headline can play so well into this shot as that it makes you wonder who will win this 'derby race' - one of the guys or the girl? The girl methinks;-) Very well done (8). |

Chaos in the Gardenby colorcarnivalComment: Stunning macro shot! I might be the only one who sees this as an an example of anthropomorphises. The dandelion on the top left corner seems to be 'stretching' it's arm/branch seed to touch the tip of the grass/fingertip. Great details in your main subjects. My only critique, and it's a small one mind you, is that I wish that the blade of grass was coming out from the bottom right hand corner so the reach would be a full diagonal. |

The Young Mister Escher and Companions by LydiaComment: I absolutely love this! I can see how you accomplished this but I it still makes me do double takes just looking at it:-) Love that dog sitting on the chair looking straight at us. Great attention to details here from the rugs to the basket and jar on the 'opposite' floors:-) Great job, hope to see this in the top 5. |
