Anenome Crabby cloudsmeComment: Nicely captured, right front claw appears to have a blue "aura" about it, and is slightly oof, understand how difficult to get everything in focus, but still there to my eyes anyway |

I See You...by davidus428Comment: well done, love the interplay between two of natures best hunters, the spider does not stand much of a chance if the encounter went on to conflict, but love the photo - to me if you lose any points, maybe the fact that the photo APPEARS to be upside down (know it is not), should not, but that may be a terrible reason to deduct points ( have seen others that actually turned theirs 180 degrees), just a thought |

Waiting by wsteynComment: well done, great macro shot, I know I am in the minority, but for me would have done better with an actual natural (but very subued) background, the solid black works with this - no doubt, I just prefer a more natural background for nature shots! |

spider blending inby striveComment: do not believe that is a spider, but a moot point as far as photo is concerned, very good example and very good photo, only small thing is the three rear legs are a little oof to me, hard to get everything in focus with nature I know, but it is very slightly distracting |

White on Whiteby samanwarComment: Like the photo, but the challenge clearly stated to take a light on white WITHOUT blowing the highlights, therefore most would probably have scored this lower, IMO, of course there were a couple that were blown and did score over 5, so cannot be sure, of course!!
