the way the ball bouncesby kwallsComment: Really nice attempt here, but nothing is quite sharp enough for me to pull out; the ball is close, and I hope that's what you were going for, but the composition doesn't let me see very much in terms of motion (the crowd is too far back, and just looks out of focus to my eyes). |

NYC Ladyby gregmComment: Neat image, showing motion, with interesting composition (though I think I either would have included a bit more at the top, or a bit less - the half included words are a bit distracting to me (how's that for picky). Not sure how it fits with the challenge (the motion is in the wrong subject for me, and I went lower for that, sorry), but I still like it. |

Motion in a Panby vidar exposedComment: Really nice effect, but it conveys to me something more like electricity in the water than it does motion; one of the really good images I've seen this challenge that has good elements (good use of color, interesting to look at) but that doesn't really seem (to my eyes) to use the technique called for in the challenge. |

Gulls in Flight, Winter Dawnby Bear_MusicComment: This is a really interesting image to look at, though I don't see the use of the motion panning technique in it (marked it down for that, sorry); I am very curious how it was done, and I like the constant shade of blue that runs throughout it. |

Sea Breezeby BarkingMadComment: Good image, with reasonable clarity given the circumstances, but it's hard to get motion panning with water as a background, and while I know the waterskier here is in motion, I don't get a feeling of motion from the photo. The water at his feet is also very bright, though honestly I'm not sure you could have done anything about that. |

60 mphby nzorroComment: I like these kinds of images, but it's not really the technique that was asked for in the challenge. As for what is here, the rider's face looks to me like it was oversharpened (could also be a contrast issue), and the clouds looked a bit too blue to my eyes, as well. |

A Shot In The Darkby blazelleComment: Interesting, nice use of colors, but does not do much for me beyond that, and I'm not seeing a connection to the challenge. |

Tensiesby denileighComment: This image doesn't work for me; the motion panning is lost on my eyes, and I would have liked to have seen it with more contrast. As for what's here, it evoked a feeling of a foggy wartime beach scene in my mind, even once I realized they were jacks, and the composition is nice, even if the image is not technically very strong. |

Dance trioby natalka9Comment: There was something about this image that I liked, but I can't really put my finger on it; maybe the contrast of the pretty sharp right wall with the blurred dancers and the play of the light. Even so, I can't really identify the motion panning aspect; the primary subjects are all blurred, and my eye always seemed to be looking for something else. |

She walks all over me......by KalisaLeskoComment: The motion panning is lost on me here, but it's still a nice image. I can see the attempt to get motion blur, but having the dad's face in sharp focus (leaving the motion blur to the feet), with perhaps a bit more contrast in the whole image, would have improved it for me a bit. |
