I was riding my motorcycle in the Everglades, my camera in the left hand, shooting this picture of my left mirror at 60 mph. The guy in the mirror is a friend of mine. I wish the picture would be sharper, but riding on a BMW 650 Dakar with 60 mph creates some vibration ;-)

I like these kinds of images, but it's not really the technique that was asked for in the challenge. As for what is here, the rider's face looks to me like it was oversharpened (could also be a contrast issue), and the clouds looked a bit too blue to my eyes, as well.

I don't care for the oversaturation here. Interesting composition though.

technically this is motion panning even though it doesn't require any panning skills. still, it's an innovative interpretation. 7

nice shot, but not a motion pan

Very out of the box for motion panning, but I guess it meets the challenge. The camera is in motion, and some of the background has motion blur. I'm surprised the roadside in the mirror isn't blurred. Nice composition, and points for originality. 9

interesting take, but i'm not a fan of the processing--it just doesn't look natural.

I think that there should also be a sense of motion in the reflection a slightly slower shutter speed would do it. Not sure if it fits for panning to have the camera in a fixed position.

Cool idea! Too much noise and lack of sharpness in mirror.

I guess the bad-print colours are a result of poor optics in the mirror. I don't think this is panning anyway. 3

This is motion blur, not motion panning. Cool shot, nonetheless.

Clever idea - -I'm not sure it fully conveys motion panning to me as the focal point of the picture (the biker) appears static against his background even though you are clearly moving.

nice shot... i've tried some shots like this and they don't come out even close to this.

Oversharpened for starters. There also isn't panning occuring here. (Though there is motion blur)

Clever idea, but I'm not sure it qualifies as MP and I'm not a fan of the PP.
