This is an amazing result using basic editing rules. It's the kind of thing you could see as a full page watermark in an annual report. In that context, you could selectively correct some of the areas that can't be fixed under these rules. Full marks for the style and feel of this, maybe 1-2 off it for being maybe just a little too abstract when showing either the bank or branch. Without the title it's not posible to make the connection - 7

This is a gnarly old beast isn't it. I wonder if there's too much in frame and if a tighter crop may have bought out that lovely dappled light and the strong texture in the bole of the trunk? There's a slight bluriness that I can't make out, is it camera movement rather than focus?

What an amazing looking tree. The background sky is stunning. Interestingly, the shot lost all it's impact when it finished loading. I have dialup so it loaded top down slowly and I first went wow when it got to the fat branch as at that point the tree looked 100ft tall and 15ft thick. The other twigs looked like trees about 25ft tall. Then the greenery appeared and it spoilt the illusion :( It has maybe meant 3-4 points difference to me.
