My glass guitar

The colour combinations are nice but I find there is nothing in the image that suggests bokeh. In fact I don't find anything to be in particularly good focus, let alone a subject with an OOF BG. Maybe if you set it up so that the tiny glass guitar was your subject set against (not on top of - at some distance) a back drop of your full size guitar which could be completely OOF, it could work better

Reminds me of Edgar Allan Poe. Black subjects are very hard to capture well - there is a fine line between getting enough contrast in the image without blowing out any highlights. I think you have done this efectively, although I find your focus a touch soft. The bokeh you have produced is sufficient to isolate the subject from the BG, even though there are no tell-tale artifacts to suggest that this bokeh isn't just a solid BG, slightly OOF. Still I really like it and is one of my top picks.

What I see is a photo with shallow DOF without taking full advantage of the bokeh effect. You may have been better off showing how your big glass could be used to produce the bokeh effect, rather than showing your big glass.

Technically you have sucessfully produced a decent bokeh effect. Your subject matter however is a very difficult one to capture well especially when your background is so simalarly toned. For example if your BG was darker like the upper left of the frame, there would be more contrast and your subject would stand out more. Then if you had just a few points of light in the background you would add interest, instead of distracting from the subject. Hope this was helpful. Goodluck.

The desaturation here is a nice juxtoposition against the bokeh you have created. It looks like you rotated the blade to make it parallel to your frame. Because the drop stands out from the background so well, it looks as though the drop is falling slightly slanted. Other than that little nit pick, great shot. One of my highest rated.

Very sharp focus on your subject but your background isn't OOF quite enough to take full advantage of the bokeh effect. If it were, you would be seeing the obvious circle of confusion artifacts on the highlighted areas on the lower spice bottles. I think that would have made it much stronger image.

One of the elements of bokeh is a relatively shallow DOF, in order to make the subject stand out from the background. Sorry but it isn't apparent in this image.

Cute little girl, nice candid moment but I feel the background is hardly OOF enough to consider it bokeh.

Love the colour and the contrast, along with the pleasing composition. Subtle hint of circle of confusion artifacts. Judging by the smoothness of the bokeh, probably shot with a very high end lens. Very well done.
