Blue Eyes...by A_lack_of_colorComment: I really like this. The stong off-centre view makes for an interesting composition. The selective desat. does a really god job to attract the eye to her face. Not sure if this would have been as good without the slective desat. Good work. |

The Birdby HsteinarComment: Th exposure on the bird is too dark for me to appreciate the bird. Because of the lack of lighting on the bird, I find my eye is andering around the photo for something to settle on. JMO. |

Hosta in Bloomby lytaComment: For me, this image is a touch on the dark side and I'm wishing that the DOF had been a bit greater. The focused bud is obscured by a backgrounded flower that is not in focus and for me, this makes the focused portion of the image hard to find. I think I would have preferred a more simplified view of the flowers. JMO |

Oil by Waterby xyphotoComment: The photo has a very bright hot spot on th bottom right that I find to be very distracting. I'm not sure of the weather conditions this was taken in, but if it wasn't an overcast day, you might find that helpful in reducing the brightness, allowing you to take a long shutter without getting a hot spot. JMO. |
