Wow! It has been a long time since I've had a new entry on my profile page. It was as high as 7.72 at 100 votes, but dropped some at the end. This was not a Holi festival but rather a 5k run called color me rad. I gave this a 6 which is my vote for a decent, but not overwhelming picture. The bokeh is nice and the subject provides a nice diagonal for the eye to follow. The color burning (I assume that's what it is) is a bit too peachy to my eyes compared to the overall tones of the plants. It's also borderline illegal, although I can never keep straight what is legal these days for vignettes.

The reason this didn't do much better is there isn't too much connection to offer the viewer. We don't get drawn into the image because of a story or because of interest or because of a human element. You see the majority of your shot's scores are 5 and 6. You didn't get many below because it was technically well done. You didn't get many above because it didn't have a soul.
