Well, I'm not too sure I like the composition. The subject has too little interaction with the telescope. Why are the two in the same picture? and why is she transparent? the technicals are nice though.

The good: Nice idea and the coloring works with the subject
To work on: The glass' focus or position causes a weird shape which is distracting. Lighting a glass from the front is always a challenge in this type of photography.

I like palm frond shadow pics, but you need a really sharp shadow to make it a top notch picture. Also what's the triangle bit? That's unfortunate.

My very first challenge entry was a grapefruit lit with a penlight. You seem to have discovered what I did at the time. It's difficult to get a sharp image when you light through the fruit because there is thickness to the fruit. This is a nice attempt, but it falls short of the previous entries which did the same thing. 6

I'm guessing the transparency is the water drops. I bet you are gonna get hammered more than once on that. I like the texture and coloring. I'm a little unsure of the title and what it has to do with the subject, but that could just be my bad. Nice and sharp. I would have cropped or recomposed to remove the lower left corner. 6
