We considered naming our daughter Ella for a while, but it just didn't sound right with our last name. Beautiful girl! What a great moment captured...such concentration blowing up that orange birthday balloon. Your processing gives this image an already-nostalgic kind of feel.

Cool abstract! I see a beaked monster with a jewel toned eye. BTW, we converted our fireplace from wood burning to gas several years ago, something which I was totally opposed to at first. I thought that it would look really fake, but it doesn't at all, and I've actually grown to love it. We use it all the time now instead of just on special occasions as we did before. It's so easy and so clean. I do miss that lovely woodsy smell though.

The moody looking shots are always the best. I tend to get my best shots of my kids when they've just about had it with me and my camera. This is a gorgeous shot of Joyah! She reminds me of a young Julianne Moore.
