 This is Ella, yesterday's birthday girl. I did actually take a photo for today, but the more I looked at it, it kind of turned my stomach so I canned it. BBQ grill, fire, burgers.... good to eat but not that appetizing as a photo. :)

Her eyes are beautiful, really that blue, no processing to them at all (well, other then the acid process to the overall photo). She's a little hoot too. :) Here's an older photo of her where I did overdue her eyes a bit (I think I had just learned a new trick of eye processing at the time or something) :)

Her eyes are mesmerizing. Hers eyes really pop against that bright orange balloon. Love the processing. I really need to try out that acid treatment thing.

lol...she looks a little deflated. i'm really enjoying the acid treatment on people photos -- i didn't think i would, but it's very appealing to me. shots like this reinforce that. :)

We considered naming our daughter Ella for a while, but it just didn't sound right with our last name. Beautiful girl! What a great moment captured...such concentration blowing up that orange birthday balloon. Your processing gives this image an already-nostalgic kind of feel.
