a couple of "Young Dubliners" by briantammyComment: I'm not really into concert-photography, but I do know it's sometimes hard to make a good crop. I think the mic and the guy at the back are very distracting, I do think there's a way to change that: crop him of the photo and rotate the canvas a little to the left. That way the guy with the guitar will stand a bit straighter, but the guy at the background is gone ;)

Eleanorby NobodyComment: You were wondering why this didn't do better. Well, there are some things I can add that might be the reason.
First off, the lighting on the girl is fine! Point of view might be a little higher. Her pose is a little forced, also her smile. The background isn't something of my taste (I always think this is a typical American background, but I love black ad white backgrounds ;)) and it's wrinkeled. If you place the model a bit forward, away from the BG, it will get more out of focus and I think that works better.
Well these are some things that come to mind. Not saying it's the truth, but just my humble opinion ;) |

Her Smileby jegerComment: I thought I recognised a certain style in your photo, and then I saw you had the workshop with Librodo. That must have been awesome!
Great colors! Not much critique here, except the dark area above the models head. It's kinda distracting and it seems like something is growing out of her head. Change POV and the problem's gone ;)
And next time use real flowers, lol |

Pitch In! (Inspired by Alan Freed)by kleskiComment: Oh I know this photo from Alan. I think you did a good job. The visual effect is very clear (allthough the bottles are a little wiggly ;)) The colors might be a little too much saturated for my taste, but I can imagine that it works for a lot of people. Not your fault but just my taste ;)
Anyhow, good job! |
