burgersby coolblueComment: I quite like this shot. Seems your eye prefers a higher key image than mine but, this is a nice shot. I agree if the umbrella wasn't in the way the shot would be nicer but, that is a minor point to me. |

REFLECTIONSby coolblueComment: Very interesting shot. It is a bit on the white side for my personal taste but, like Miami it kind of grows on you a bit. There might be another shot in there with more of a crop on the "blue boat" with only some of the boat stuff colored. Very original though ... Almost makes me want to wear black socks with sandals :) |

still standingby AzCKellyComment: I think the shot is very static and the light really isn't complimentary. If you look around I bet you will find lots of dead ones laying on the ground those can give you some interesting shadows and textures. For this one if you can wait for sunrise/sunset and use the polarizer it will pop alot more. If the sky is kind of bland like this but, the light is cooler or warmer you might get a better result in Sepia. That's my five cents worth, but, you paid less than that for it so it isn't worth five cents :) |

Blessing Buddhaby hajekaComment: It is frustrating to get so few comments with the voting. For what my opinion is worth (my interests and style are not always in synch with most on this site ) , the Buddah is dark and it is against a dark background. The site has alot of people that really do some exceptional studio/staged shots, by comparison this is quite ordinary. Maybe a little water in front to get a reflection or some placement of additional highlights would have yeilded a more dramatic shot. I personally am not a studio type photographer but, if you check out alot of the challenges have examples of people who really put alot of effort into that kind of thing. |

previous frameby aznymComment: I like the shot but, seems alot of blown out area which to my eye detracts from the overall pic. |
