Mirror, Mirror on the ball... by jegerComment: yeah but to use a longer lens and get the same angle would mean he would have to climb way up into one of those trees.
Originally posted by eyewave: Excellent shot. I'd try it again with a monopod sticked into the ground, maybe also stick some leaves on it. Or use a longer lens and hide the camera behind a tree :) |

JD45 Self-Propelled, no moreby hahn23Comment: Actually a nice shot. However, it seems that anything called "abandoned" needs to be extremely TONEMAPPED to even have a chance in this challenge.

Dome With A Viewby CraigDComment: Wow...no tangible return on investment? There is not enough space to list all of that particular telescope's discoveries but the knowledge it provides is priceless.
Originally posted by CraigD: I got a lot of comments asking how this fits affluence. How does an expensive house or car or jewelry show affluence. Someone spent millions of dollars to build this in a remote location for no tangible return on investment. And what does the biggest donor get out of it...to name it, that is affluence. But thank you for all of the comments. This is the only photography session that made me dizzy, or was that the lack of oxygen at 14,000 ft. |
