Tuscan Sunby pelfComment: Very, very good shot. My only 10 so far. I deliberately avoided sunsets & sunrises, thinking they'd be too popular. Yours, however, is just so well composed. |

Before Digitalby kjenningsComment: A classic shot. You handled the low-light shooting very well (texture still visible on leather & plastic, & reflections from the metal). The diagonal angle & the carefully chosen color of the frame are great! 9. |

Left Unsaidby idnicComment: Maybe a case of too many pens too carefully arranged... |

25 cents a gallonby pearlseyesComment: The sepia gives this shot an old fashioned, nostalgic feel, but it also causes the subject to blend into the background. I also think the centering of the main gas pump between the garage doors isn't helping the photo either.
Not a lousy photo by any means, however. 6. |

Rolling in the Past!!by radharamComment: Creative positioning of your subject, but if I can be picky: The long grass is not the main focus of the photo, but is still a part of the photo and there's going to be a percentage of your audience that will be distracted by it. Anything you can do that will remove these distractors is only going to enbale them to enjoy the photo more. (Unless I misunderstood the grass & it has some significance...) |

OLD BARNby kandikane61607Comment: Very appealing picture. The size of the shot (less than 640 x 480) isn't a problem to me because the detail is so clear & it's all so well in proportion.
Nice pairs of colors for the landscape (greens & oranges), sky (blues & grays) & barn (browns & reds), & I like the trees on the horizon that end a little distance from the left of the photo.
A really nice, balanced photo (rule of 3rds didn't hurt either!) |
