Fountain pens and ink shot in light cube. I loved the feel and balance of this shot the moment I saw it in B/w.

Maybe a case of too many pens too carefully arranged...

Nicely exposed and good composition. Looks just a little sterile to me.6.

Well staged and a good idea. For studio shots I tend to be very critical of lighting since you control it. In this case I think there is not enough contrast and use of highlighting. The focus seems to be soft on the tip of the middle pen also.

I don't like this photo... pens are very unusually put. Photo is too flat. On the other hand, techniqally, it's done on 10! Good job, but not the best composition.. my mark is 7:)

the idea is good.it would have been great having obtained a quill instead of cartridge pens . this only takes away from the idea of obsolete. especially using morethan one.

Great idea, but since it is a staged set-up, it would of been better with older looking quill pens, not the new looking ones from the stationary stores.

Good photo, but a fountain pen is hardly obsolete in my opinion. I didn't rate you down for my thoughts, however.

Probably the best pic I have come across till now. Most of the pics are really bad in this challenge. Goodluck.

Not necessarily obsolete. The picture, however, is very nicely done. Lighting and composition are perfect. I like the lines and angles. 8

I cannot remeber when was the last time I scribbled more than a few notes by hand. Very nice.
