Jutilda and Alfresco.. sorry to have deleted your comments.. the other shot was straight out of the camera.. this is a bit of play with curves and contrast (as you suggested Jutilda ;) ) I like it better.

Not sure if you realize or not.. but they are spelling out the word YaY in your photo which suits the spirit of the children playing perfectly...
I noticed it a bit more clearly in the thumnail size but yes.. your timing was amazing for this photograph.. initially I thought thats what you were trying to do is spell out something and how amazing that would be not to mention the hard work to get the timing down perfectly but as I read what you wrote its purely luck and an amazing eye of a talented Fotog..

Beautiful moment and capture.. thanks for sharing it with us all.

This has such a renaissance portrait feel to me. I actually went through a number of art sites trying to figure out what period it reminded me of.. and so far I'm leaning heavily towards the renaissance.
