"The Story of the Youth Who Went Forth to Learn What Fear Was" by bspurgeonComment: I'm sure many ppl are looking at this image (as well as the color version) due to the fact that you are the inspiration for the latest challenge.
I just wanted to say that I think the reason the black+white version is really effective on an image like this is that (while the color version is beautiful) the colorless version allows the eye to really experience the movement and concept without any distractions. Really effective on DPC because the first glance almost fools the eye into thinking it is moving or being pulled in. That initial view is captivating and forces the hand to click on a high score - haha - No need to tell you how good the image is - the score says it all =)

Absolut Push Pinsby pixelstudioComment: Fantastic. I think what would have helped this was somethign to bring it all togetther. Maybe a pushpin in the center holding a not that said "Get more Absolut" or soemthing.
Oh - and I also agree that a new title would also help bring it together. As is, the photo could be called: "Absolut(ly) Tacky" Message edited by author 2011-06-29 10:03:58. |

Absolut Poisonby gyabanComment: Very creative and fun. I think if the composition was a bit stronger, the concept would have put it over the top.

I Walk the Lineby gyabanComment: I would agree. Some amazing ideas that seem to be somewhat overly overlapped ;) Great image nonetheless - we have come to expect perfection from you ! - not exactly easy to live up to your own reputation ;)

The Wild by AllenPComment: My 6-year old saw this on the screen and loved it. "Ooh cool â€Â¦ is it real???" LOL â€Â¦ she's got one on quite a few DPC members ;) |
