The Wave by TLL061Comment: Spectacular. I love the lines, it almost makes it look like the canyon is alive and moving. |

Dragonfly 2by ephlnComment: Beautiful colors. Would be nicer if the dragonfly was completely in focus, though. I know these guys are hard to shoot though, since they always want their backs to the sun. I believe if it was in focus and from the other side this would be one of my favorite photographs of an insect. |

Calgary over the Bowby Nocturnal_DelusionComment: Wow, you almost can't even see the sewage in the Bow river. Anyways, very nicely exposed. If only you got that revolving tower in the shot. You know, the sit'n'rotate. |

PS3 Buildingby heavyjComment: No, that's the ps3000. Due out in 2150. Supposedly it can render twenty million trillion trillion trillion polygons per second. =D |

Toronto ON Canada by nightby basssman7Comment: Very beautiful. The horizon is very slightly tilted counter clockwise, but for some reason in particular shot it seems very noticable despite only being like one degree. I'm just nitpicking though. The slightly off center CN tower adds much to the image, nicely framed. |

Downtown Cowtownby Foolish IceComment: Strange, I thought I voted on this one already. Maybe there's two that are very similar. Buildings are a little too dark to really distinguish between them. A longer exposure probably would have helped, then you could have darkened the blues in PP to retain the nice blue in the sky.
Anyways, you made it look fairly nice, which is quite a feat considering it's Calgary. Go Oilers! (My prejudice doesn't affect my vote =)
P.S Just keeping the rivalry alive, no offense intended. |

Luxemburg Cityby OculusComment: I love the clouds. The contrast is very nice as well. I'm wondering how you got the image to look so soft. Do share once the challenge is over =] |

Skeeter, Surfing the Webby kawesttexComment: Very cute. If the dogs face was lit up better it might make the photo a bit more pleasing. Though I know when a situation like this presents itself, you can't really shine a light in the dogs face and a flash might just ruin the whole thing.
P.S Is the dog on DPC? |

susan2.jpgby wavelengthComment: The black and white works well with her, and if that is her normal expression then this is a wonderful shot of her. If the ear ring was diamonds then I could see it being in a People's Jewellers flyer. A more direct light (direct with which way her head is facing) is the only thing I could think of that might add to the image since it would get rid of the shadow that her nose casts. One thing I notice with portraiture is that in nearly all of the widely acclaimed shots, their are no shadows on the front of the face. |

aja2by wavelengthComment: I agree with the others. It's an excellent composition, if only the shadow on her face wasn't so dark. I don't think the tattoo is a problem though, except maybe we can't make out what it is. |
