E-ticket transportationby MelethiaComment: A ride as transportation? Hey, it works for me...but I think a surfboard is transportation. Judging by the finish I would say the voters agree. Good technicals. I especially like the colors and crop.

How high?by MelethiaComment: But for the graininess this would be a top 10 IMHO. It has great color, the correography is perfect, great stopped action, ...and dolphins are the best "feel good" animal on the planet (finishing just ahead of frogs, kittens and puppies). ;-) |

Bits and itty bitty Piecesby MelethiaComment: This photo is all about DoF...and this is one of the best I've seen lately. I love the blur in the foreground to go with the short DoF in back. Well done. |

Hocking Hillsby timfythetooComment: ...And I quote, "Now I know this shot is not gonna do great - but hopefully just enough better than my wifes pic."
All I gotta say is...you are setting pretty high standards if this is your idea of not doing great. Congrats on another fine image (...shot under difficult circumstances, right Rowan?) My children are adults now, but I've been there. |

Walking in the Mistby timfythetooComment: I looked at the other comments before writing this, so everything has already been said. The purse. Drat. The guy's body language is great. This image has an unworldly, mystical feel to it. Another terrific finish. |

He's Hiding out in IR Landby timfythetooComment: I love this photo. Your creativity is just getting better and better (and a bit edgier too). Great technique to go with it. The only thing I might offer would be to clone out the couple flowers hanging from the branches in the upper left corner...I thought they were smudges at first (even tried to wipe them off my monitor. LOL). |

A Rare Sighting of the Mysterious 20 Foot Long Tigerby timfythetooComment: You are definitely on a roll...another clever photo. I'm not sure how you managed to get such clarity with the tigers and the tree trunk (given the dark lair and lighter tree) using f/5.8 (I would have thought DoF would blur the tree) but you have clearly accomplished a super photo under difficult lighting conditions. |

The Habitby timfythetooComment: Congrats on the 10th place finish. The lighting is superb. It makes the act of smoking an intimate experience...which works really well with the topic. I don't see how anyone could vote this a 1, 2, or 3 (unless they are smokers and think this is DNMC). Obvously the majority thinks your image is right on...as I do. |

Floating in a Sea of Peaby timfythetooComment: The things we do for a photograph. Great color and detail. I agree that the peaceful approach works well. I can't think of anything to improve on this, but I sure look forward to your entry when and if DPC gets around to using "grease" as a topic. |

Swingsby timfythetooComment: I like the composition of this image. The offcenter viewpoint actually adds to the "motion" of the swings as I can visualize the spin of the swings. This is not a static shot at all. |
