Nice lighting and over all color tones. The hand under the table is a distraction, as his the way his legs are spread on the stool. I woud suggest cropping to the bottom edge of the table top. (8)

Love the shallow DOF and your choice of B/W. I would have liked to see the woman looking up at the camera as in true portrait style as this looks more candid. It is a nice shot.

the challenge was to take a portrait - not a candid - of a subject in their environment. You got the environment right, but this is not truly a portrait as much as it is a candid. The over all yellow cast is not very eye appealing.
