Man, that's funny! Posing a dead dragonfly! haha. Nice shot, and nice DOF. I think the pose looks natural, wouldn't have ever guessed he was dead unless you told us. Was a flash used? I just wondered about the 'tail' reflecting light...could just be the colors though.

Moonset

This *is* a very cool and moody shot, even if you added the water/reflections in post. The only wish I have with it is for the moon to be a bit more visible so it's immediately recognized as such. The viewer can deduct that it's a moon shot, which I suppose many people would prefer, but my simple mind likes things more 'in your face' sometimes.

Personally, I don't think all the extra space to the right does anything for the shot. Maybe cropping closer would set the focus more on the butterfly and bees. Also, maybe a bit more DOF. Looks like the flower the butterfly is on was actually the focus point. I think it's nice that the bees are relatively in focus as well, though.

I'd say you ended up with more than 'ok'. Very moody, heavy image. Spooky. The BW is great with the grainy feel. Nicely done!

Another interesting job processing. I'm guessing it was a rather ordinary shot out of the camera, but your vision gave it life. I really like that there is just a tad bit of detail showing us the wall is brick.

I like this one. The light is very bright, yet you managed to keep the 'spokes' in there. Intersting post processing as well. Nice composition, IMO.
