Reach for the Skyby MattBComment: What a strange landscape. I really like the use of black and white for this picture. It makes the scene even more unreal. |

Wild Woodby jrjrComment: Very dramatic branch to photograph. The tilt to the horizon is distracting to me, but can be easily fixed. I also might have liked to have more space at the top of the image so we can see the ends of the branches and they don't get cropped off. |

We're Not In Kansas Anymoreby mesmerajComment: Great entry for this challenge. Although the stark white background is too standard for such a great photo. I've taken a look at your portfolio and you have some great work and some things that make me laugh out loud (like the 1983 photo). Congratulations. |

Dead Woodby HattieComment: I love this craggy tree. Great subject. The grass looks very yellow and it is a little tough on my eyes. Maybe you could tone down the yellow. Really well suited to this challenge. 9. |

Cardinal's Perchby BalkoComment: Love this image. The yellow - green from the trees behind is a little overpowering though. Maybe you could do a little selective desaturation. Nice job. |

A beautiful end...by rocklova72Comment: There is not enough contrast in this image. The fallen tree looks like it would be a good subject, but it is hard to decipher what you're looking at until you add more deinition. |

Cabbageby Bear_MusicComment: Very creative and beautiful take on a cabbage! 9. I like the light shining through the leaf and the framing to suggest a tree. 9. |

vulnerableby busalshotsComment: I like the soft focus behind the branches. I wonder if this photo would be better appreciated in black and white. The colors don't add anything and the orange cast to the wood is too strong. Nice subject. |

My Branch!by PurpleFireComment: The colors are stunning. The title really ties it to the "branch" theme. It seems like the focus on the bird's face could be a little sharper. |

Solitaireby kosmikkreeperComment: Beautiful image. The leaves seem to have a lot of glaring light on them, but I like the effect. I wonder if I would like the image even more if you had cropped out the tree trunk all together and just left the branch suspended in the darkness. Very nice choice of image. |
