Very cute, though the picture seemed more focused on the bird than on the branch. On that note, I can't really see the branch it's on. But the lighting and focus is good. And I like the colors.

i think the contrast could be better, more vibrant colors would make this pic stand out stand out more as well

The parrot is just so beautiful and the picture of it great. The branch connection is pretty minimalistic which marks down a pic (for the challenge) which deserves better - 6

Great shot.

I don't usually rate animal shots high because the focus is not on the branch, but this works for me. (Maybe because of the title)

Nice color capture!

Nice bird picture. The under-exposure loses much of the interesting detail in the feathers. It would be nice to see a bit of light in the eye--as it is, the tip of the beak draws attention and then the eye hunts for something more to interest it...

The colors are stunning. The title really ties it to the "branch" theme. It seems like the focus on the bird's face could be a little sharper.

Cropped a little lower, so the branch would be visible, would make this a near perfect shot to me. 7

For me, I wonder how this photo would work if you cropped it into a vertical photo as the bird is a vertical object? Also, a bit more of the branch showing beneath his claws. I do really like the coloring and how you caught the tilt of the bird's head.

very colorful capture, less active background would improve it
