Cherry Princessby khdossComment: I stumbled upon this again and have to say that I just really am surprised this didn't get ranked higher. After having been away from here for awhile I started restoring my faith in DPC but seeing that some really great photos don't do well makes me very sad.
Anyway, I just wanted to echo what I had said in the past, this is a great shot and the only thing that is issue for me is that you can't see the ducks' eye(s). To me that is a very small part of an already great shot. Great composition, phenomenol (it looks spelled wrong, I can never spell it right) coloring. I really dig this shot.

The foreground "border" above takes up too much space for my liking (almost a full 1/3 of the top), I would've scored it higher if it wasn't so distracting. |
