Huh. Almost the same concept that I used, only with a brighter, less dramatic style. I'm really curious to see whether you outscore me. The dark line above the shadow mars the image somewhat. I would have preferred an arrangement that adds drama, but it seems I'm being downscored for having done exactly that, so take this advice with a large grain of salt.

Pretty, but not really minimalist either by classic or by contest definition. If it were somehow just the bridge, without the hill in front or the bright city behind, that would work much better.

Lots of things to look at here, so I'm not sure exactly what the subject is. The people? Image seems a little out of focus, and could probably use a slight contrast boost.

I normally don't like harsh, white backgrounds, but here it serves well to show the colored shadow. This is minimalist more in the classic sense than in the contest description sense, but I'm not docking points for that. Excellent color contrasts, and the shadow breaks up the background tedium nicely.
