Headed Homeby drdab99Comment: Nice mood to this photo. I think that you could have cropped out some of the sky though, and just kept a little around the tops of the trees. The sky is too bright for me. |

The source of all of the colour BROWNby MorganComment: The tones are a little flat, and that wire bugs me. Ths shot looks a tiny bit out of focus too. Funny shot though!
The folds of its legs almost make the shape of a mouth, with a long pendulous nose. I think it's smiling at me. 6. |

Mooringby crabappl3Comment: I like how the ropes and the side of the boat both draw the eye in from the bottom of the picture, towards the ladder, which is wonderfully sharp. The blue toning also looks great here. I think it's a little on the busy side, however. A boating enthusiast may disagree with me though :) |

Where Highways meetby jab119Comment: Big highway junctions are fascinating works of engineering. You've shown the subject from an interesting viewpoint. I'm wondering if it would have looked even better with the four roads disappearing into the corners of the shot. I find the lack of trees in the bottom corner draws my attention out of the shot, towards the bottom right corner, which unfortunately also happens to be quite blurry. Corner of the plane window? |

Lake moodby KathycComment: I really like the low clouds/fog off in the distance. All you need now is a moose drinking in the corner of the shot, and you have a masterpiece. |

Black & white H2Oby ladpupmoeComment: An interesting take on the now well-used refraction trick. The whites aren't quite white though, unless by the title you just mean the shot has been converted to greyscale. I find the corrugations in the glass detract from the shot, as they make the straw look chewed (the scoop on the straw doesn't help either, IMO). The light shadow to the left of the glass disturbs the symmetry too. I think the composition is pretty good otherwise, however. Maybe with some level adjustments and a darker piece of black cardboard, it would be more punchy. Now that I look at it, you can see the cardboard coming up a bit at the bottom of the shot. |

LAZY DAY OFFby howzaComment: The soft focus and contrast add a nice dreamy feel to the shot. You could have done without the wheelbarrow handle in the front though. |

Steamin'by sg10Comment: Lovely macro shot. I think it would have been better if the front of the train was in focus. I like the tracks leading into the picture though. |

Transportation by sea by eikidigiComment: Nice reflections. The colours on the raincoat almost look too saturated. Although the bird taking off with a fish in the corner of the shot does provide some interest, I think it is distracting overall. I think cropping closer to get just the fisherman and his boat and including less of the water (that part without the reflections) would have made for a stronger composition. There's still something to it though. |

Watch out...by xertionComment: Interesting eye study. The lighting and exposure is really well done. One thing that I think is necessary in this kind of composition is to accurately align the frames. The two on the left are marginally higher than they should be, and the one in the bottom left corner is a little smaller than its counterpart. |
