It does look tranquil :-) Good composition and an interesting shot. Don't know what you have for editing software, but if you're in PhotoShop, try playing with the Levels and the Color Balance. Maybe adjusting some things in there will make you feel like the picture pops more. I kinda like it the way it is though :-)

What an adorable little girl!! :-) Very cute picture. I like the blur behind her, but I would be interested in seeing this in color. Her eyes are very expressive and I think they might come out better in color. Good composition as well!

Go ahead and make the image as large as the site will let you!! It lets us see more detail when we're voting :-) I like the composition of this image quite a bit. The lighting is almost either too bright or not enough. The subject looks pretty dark (dark enough to obscure detail) but not so dark as to really make a sillhouette. Really like the creativity :-)

Nice colors and nice composition. I think I would enjoy a tighter crop of the main subject as well. Plenty of plants that are lovely, but there's something to be said about the beauty of someone working a job they enjoy.

A lovely eye, and a crisp image. I feel like the whites/lights are a little too white/light. Even the darker colors of the eyelashes seem very light, which isn't bad except that we have little contrast to help draw our eye into this photo.

The colors in this image seem a little soft to me...they lack a little bit of vibrance that would really make this photo shine! I like the composition, and I like the creativity of this shot. Definitely not something I saw other attempts of this challenge :-)
