This is almost really good. There is just too much yellow to this. I think its oversaturated and it's not the clearest shot either which makes little yellow ghosts around the little yellow flowers. Maybe a ladybug would provide a little more contrast. I think if it were just a little sharper, the framing and the distance of the bee would overcome the yellow and I would have to score it higher. But as is, its an almost very good shot.

I used one of these in the indoor macro challenge a few weeks ago. Unfortunately mine was much smaller and not in a natural setting, as this one appears to be. The background does not help this guy though. The part under his chin is light as is his skin and the part over his eyes is dark, as is the part over his eyes. A more uniform background would've made something about his head stand out more. As it is I think he's blending in a little too much.

This is a pretty good shot of the bee. I'm not wild about the pic as a whole. The leaves could've been darker and I think it would've really enhanced the bee. I believe it would've provided a little more contrast and darkened the bright spot at the very bottom of the leaf on which the bee rests.

Need more contrast in the sky to really capture the full effect of this majestic bird, especially with the head being so white. Great capture though.

Awesome shot. The haze gives this that little extra something special to this pic. The horses are great. The framing on this pic is outstanding. I don't know how much this applies to a challenge like this, but its a 10 in my book

Excellent contrast between the birds and their surroundings. Great how you got so many of them in the frame and also the DOF this was shot at must've been pretty high like F11 or so. Awesome. 10
