really good angle and focus on this heron. The blue ontop of his head is a bit muted..if you could have brought that colour out more, it would be spectacular. :)

Absolutely love heron shots. This is one of the nicest I've seen in a long time. VERY well done. Focus is very fine. Color seems perfect. Love the big S neck line!! This is an easy 10 for me. (I'd go higher, but the scale doesn't allow it)

Good one. Lovely definition on the wings and neck. Crop a bit off the left to make the bird less central and ovoid the empty space.

Lovely image. Are you familiar with the watercolors by Louis Agassiz Fuertes (from NY state, earlier part of 20th century)? If not, try to get your hands on a copy of one of his books from a library. He did exquisite watercolors of Herons, Secretary Birds, etc. You will probably be delighted to look at them. This image reminded me of his watercolors immediately. 10 Journey
