Great moment, but I would not say that the lighting is what makes this picture. Sure the flash froze the moment, but it is not a defining feature in this pic, the brides facial expression and the movement make this shot what it is. So A+ for catching this moment, but as far as the challenge is concerned, I don't think it is a good fit.

your lighting is really flat and boring and one of your strawberries has a gross spot on it. You did a good job of arranging them, but if you want to photograph food, your food needs to be flawless and your lighting needs to be beautiful and give depth. Try not to light so straight on.

The challenge was to use light in a creative way that makes if a key element. While light is always key, I don't feel like you used it in a creative way and I don't even feel like this is lit as well as it could be. I do think that the facial expressions and posing is very good, but I think your light source is to low and lighting up at the girls. Had you brought your souce up more I think the shadows on the faces would be more appealing. Please don't take this the wrong way because the lighting is decent, but I think it could be improved.
