 Went to see the "Revenge of the Sith." I like the marquee to this theater. Reminds me of several in the neighborhood as a kid. Took the camera out of the trunk along with two lens and tripod: bracketed a number of shots. (Had to explain to a policeman what I was doing after a patron called the police! Have to say, the officer was extremely nice about it.) There is a parking lot, light post directly infront of the marqee that pretty much ruined a straight on shot. However, that light, because it was high above the building gave some background light to show the details of the building's deco style.

In Photoshop:
cropped for effect;
adjusted the levels;
clonned a number of hot spot specs;
slighly adjusted selective colors;
sized for the web
unsharppened mask 75%, radius of 1.2, threshold 1;
saved for the web

For some reason, I am always shooting theater signs...this is a great, simple shot. Good job.

I like the composition: particularly the tension created by the curves dropping off to the right, and of course the crisp colors. The 3D effect on the letters, particularly the side of the "A" facing us.
