Magicalby bergiekatComment: This is my favorite of the challenge. Don't care for the border at all, but the image itself is exquisite. |

Jellyfish à la Pollockby aliquiComment: I gave this a 7 on my first pass and never made it back to fine tune my votes. Would have bumped it definitely. It is actually quite beautiful and I love the color pallet you chose. |

Perchby freakin_hilariousComment: I gave this an 8 on my first pass. I, unfortunately, never made it back for a second pass. This is wonderful, one of my favorites in the challenge. I love the graphic, sparse feel of it, and the way it fights against the subject. Well seen! |

A daughter's last goodbyeby mariodubeComment: I really like this image. I think it might have been improved if the top had been cut off at the horizon line - Currently that strong horizontal line competes with the action in the image and also cuts the image in 'half' unnecessarily. There is absolutely nothing of interest above the line and it provides nothing but distraction. With that part gone, the father is moving into an endless void so to speak, rather than one that is limited by the horizon. Hope that makes sense. I like her strong shadow and his lack of shadow - that adds an element of interest, something to be thought about. I think the toning is a little harsh - a slightly more dreamy mood may have pushed this image forward. I'll be interested in seeing more of your work when the challenge ends. |

escapeby nixterComment: Wow. He looks like he is moving so fast. And that makes this a story. I can invent my own - you've provided enough for my mind to wander. I love photographs that do that... |

Emiliaby ZigomarComment: The colors in this, the blur, the movement, the noise... all work so amazingly well together. If one part failed, this wouldn't be so wonderful. Great work! |

Anapamu Streetby MelethiaComment: Somehow, the blur makes these two feel like a couple. And somehow, the fact that he is following her on a bike makes me think of the poem, "The Freaks at Spurgin Road Field." (//www.cs.berkeley.edu/~richie/poetry/html/aupoem67.html) I think the red bag helps in that. And I can't tell you why, but I can say that this movement makes me appreciate the image all the more. Wonderful work as usual... |
