Deep Thinkerby FyzarlComment: highlights on the forehead and hand look blownout. but the color and saturation is very good. |

Little Drummer Manby rasdubComment: hmm the background is a bit too in focus. of course, you're limited by not being able to ask the drummer to move away from the crowd more and by the limitations of your camera lens. however, you can try to get closer and the background blur will increase. |

all in the eyesby gtp1164Comment: maybe cropped a bit too tight on the lip, it seems like it's almost touching the frame. soft focus works well and gives it that dreamy feel. i also like the tones on the hair. |

Patrickby bicrayComment: this picture has a lot of feel to it, but certain areas seem a bit soft or out of focus, like the eyes, parts of the beard. the focus issue on the eyes is probably due to the distortion from the glasses though. |

Portraitby DesemberComment: great lighting, but it seems slightly overexposed along the left side of the sweater and a bit on the hair. -.3EV might have been good. |

18th Hourby DanielCzajaComment: picture seems to need a boost in saturation. and it might be interesting to frame the head with that ring thing that got cropped off. as in it might be interesting to include the whole ring instead of cutting it off |

Redby thomaspeopleComment: seems a bit overexposed. and i'm not sure if the horizontal format works well. there is not much border space along the left side. usually the phtoographer has a model look off to a side and goes for a horizontal shot he/she leaves room along the side where the model is looking |

Soul Musicby ShannonLeeComment: i think this picture lacks some interaction. i would shoot at a weird angle and have the model do some pose that provokes a sense of movement. |

Jacquelineby QartComment: the picture seems a bit overexposed because the left side of the face shows some blown out highlights. also, it looks like you used window (ambient) light and a lamp. this introduces complications between the color temperature of the lights. thus, you have a blue and orange side of the face due to the different lights. it's best to use a reflector on window portraits instead of a new light source because of this color temperature difference. |

Man's Second Best Friendby alanfreedComment: hmm the guy's head isn't blurred enough, it's sort of inbetween blur and in focus. but i'm not sure what parameters you're working with. as for the squirrel, the focus is on the hair around the cheek area, the eye seems to be slightly out of the depth of field |
