Greetings from the Critique Club!!
You really have a great portrait here. I really enjoyed the expression and composition. The colors are just a bit yellow, but not terribly. The brightness all around him seems to me almost like his aura, I really enjoyed it! I love the detail and intricacy in his face, shows not only age, but wisdom from experience. Good Work and Keep Shooting!

bicray-you really got cheated on this one! It should have scored way up in the top 10 if not top 5. Don't get discouraged you have shown you have the know how- now go get 'em

This is a wonderful image, the highlighting on the forehead seems a little bright with a slight green cast. Amazing detail, I am glad to see you did not clone out any of the features of the face. Wonderful charecter in that face. 8

I like the textures of his hair and beard and the lines in his brow. I also like the contemplative pose, but would have preferred his looking into the camera

this picture has a lot of feel to it, but certain areas seem a bit soft or out of focus, like the eyes, parts of the beard. the focus issue on the eyes is probably due to the distortion from the glasses though.

I would have used a different color shirt. I think this one blends in too much with the background. Also, the background seems very stark, not a softer, natural white that I'd rather see.

I really like this portrait and composition. For some reason I think I would have liked a black background to make the tones richer. 9

Nice sharp portrait. A black background might have additional impact. Good luck!

Good shot of someone with glasses. I always find this difficult, well done.

There seems a slight blur in one of the bottom lens of his glasses that is attracting my eyes, but basically this portrait show as lot of character. Nice job.

Interesting character study... To me the color balance looks a bit off, the skin tones are not quite right, a little "orange" tint.

I like it. Nice to see something other than a young, beautiful woman. On my screen the skin tones seem a bit on the yellowish side, as does his beard, but a nice effort.

Very nice pose. However, there seems to be a yellow hue that makes his skin look jaundiced and his hair/beard off color.
