sunkissedby mcfly707Comment: it's important that any oil on the face be wiped clean because it is highly reflective in direct light. it doesn't look like you used the camera flash becaus of the way the shadows fall across the petals, but it is important that you also diffuse the light in some way |

My Joeyby gwendyComment: hmm this shot suffers from slight camera movement. i dunno about you, but with a 50mm lens, i can't hand hold anything 1/40th or slower |

Blue-Eyed Blondeby NobodyComment: hmm from the eyes, it looks like you used to bare bulbs to light this portrait. this could have caused the somewhat harsh lighting and definied shadows on this shot. have you tried using one main/key light and then a reflector on the other side? that might provide more favorable results |

my scrumptiousnessby redmoonComment: hmm i think the way the light was positioned or how this shot was exposed made you lose a lot of contrast in the face. i see you might have been trying to go for the high key effect. but the lighting sort of takes away all shadows which take away the 3d ness of the shot |

Jenine 091105by rj324Comment: slightly underexposed. and with a blue-ish tint in the white-balance. i think a tighter crop on the left would be good also. |

Fantasy Goddessby Bran-O-RamaComment: this is a picture where you need a large dof, the headress seems slightly out of the field of focus |

One year after ...by MambeComment: the idea is good, but im not sure if the white background is good. if you had a background similar to the one in the older picture, the backgrounds might look more compatible |

Weatheredby BrianRComment: picture seems a bit oversharpened to where you get some grain on the defined edges. |

Happyby glad2badadComment: it's hard to get a lot of light when your subject is facing away from the sun. but it's better than risking weird shadows from the sun. the way to remedy the lack of light is to use a reflector like a piece of white three-ply board. |
