Critique Club Comment:
Cute little baby.
But a little disapointing score I guess.
It's not very difficult to explain why it didn't score that well...
DPC'ers Nono list: No Flowers, No Pets and No baby's
Those are not my rules, but it's my understanding that those photo's just don't score that well.
As mentioned the lighting of the photo is not exceptionally well done, I guess it's all ambient light of a not so brightly lit room. You could have tried to get it better with PP.
It's a nice picture, but remember that nobody knows this baby here, so for the voters this is mostly only a snapshot of a baby iso a portrait.
You have to capture the voters, and try to trick them into voting higher, capture them with something you think they want to see. That's the only tip I can give you I guess.
Keep on shooting.

| For me, there is a bit too much red/orange, guessing from lighting source. A bit more in focus would have been helpful too...but such a sweet little subject. |

| Such a sweet photo! You really captured that innocence and the sweetness of a sleeping baby. From a technical viewpoint, the most sharply focused part of the photo is the stars in his hat. I would prefer his face - nose,eyes, etc. to be more sharply focused. A greater depth of field would have made this a stronger shot. |
