Right This Way...by spreadcomComment: There are those of us who use the hue/saturation controls in novel ways. I think this photo proves that it's not a daft concept. It's an amazingly interesting composition: full of lines of lots of different types but not too cluttered. |

Fanny Linesby joyinlightComment: You know, I was liking this photo until I scrolled down and saw the bottom. |

Fence Linesby vtruanComment: Just to be sure, I sharpened this at 1.6 pixels, 104% and the fence appeared in focus. It's a whole different photo. That recipe may be oversharp, but at least it solves the blurry impression that this photo gives. |

Ageby gandersComment: When the photo is about texture, I normally try to oversharpen just about to the breaking point. |

Delicacyby dartompkinsComment: At first I though I didn't like it because I'm not a fan of aqua in flowers and aqua, in my opinion, clashes with dove gray. I keep wondering whether the photo might not be a bit better when that single s -shaped petal is in focus, and when levels are adjusted so the whole background is white. |

Laugh Linesby sbeaumontComment: The color appears to be a bit to undersaturated for my tastes. I think the lighting is more of a problem. Almost the only parts of the skin that are not flatly lit are the wrinkles ahem lines. |
