 I shot this at the Devos building in Grand Rapids, MI. I just bought my new lens 50mm 1.8 so I figured my as well test it out. I planed on going to the second floor and getting a better angle but there was a Custom Motorcycle exhibit going on so I decided to attend that instead of talking my pictures first. Well by the time I got done with exhibit the closed of the second floor so I ended up taking them from the ground floor. The shot is actually taken in portrait orientation but I flipped it side ways as an added touch.

As far as the editing cropped to liking.
Curves layer to adjust the contrast and tones
Unsharpen mask to get a little sharper.
Dodged some shadows to get more uniform look.

I read a bunch of articles online about composition and I was trying to take the picture using the concepts of the rule of thirds. My goal was to take this shot and make the viewer look at it from far away from close and try to keep the focus from one side of the image to the other.

What a wild looking shot and perfect for this challenge. Lots of motion and leading lines. I like that you got the exposure just right to see the detail inside but not lose the blue sky outside.

I spotted this photo scaning thumbnails. I know I shouln't but wow did this ever seem to hit the line theme on the nail. Thumbs up. My second 10 vote so far. Very dragon like composition.

This is just so interesting. I keep staring at trying to figure it out. But for sure, what doesn't need figuring out is the excellent composition and execution of this photo. Good luck. It's awesome.
