MAMBAby aznymComment: The mamba is one of the earth's most deadly poisonous snakes; when it bites, that's it. So I am entertained by the visual allusion to a snake in this photo as well as the textual one. It's a nice capture and negative space is used very well. |

Diamonds are foreverby TrollManComment: There's a refreshing 'girl next door' look to the model. While most ad aproaches make you want it precisely because you cannot have it, this strikes me as taking a different approach. It strikes me as moral high ground - in a way. Appealing to our sense of beauty without tapping into those powerful 'deadly sin' emotions. Apologies for philosophizing, but I am interested in photography for more than what lies on the surface.
It's a beautiful shot. And it gets better and better with viewing. |

The Oneby jperez1690Comment: I really like the allusion to the Lord of the Rings. I like the shiny glowing quality of the ring and the shadow of the grabbing hand. I know it is ridiculously silly to feel as strongly as I do about the colors, but the muted taupe clashes mightily with the warm pink and coral, IMO. |

Natural pearlsby aKiwiComment: Pairing bleached beach wood with pearls is an inspired choice. I also like the blue background. While I appreciate the rhythm of the pearls assembled in lines, the fact that those lines run parallel with the edge of the photo makes the composition feel more static than it needs to be. |

Hamilton Watch Company circa 1958by bcobleComment: I really like the variety of textures; wood, leather, gold, glass. Serene, staid, warm, comfortable, safe, serious, dignified, and rich. I wish more than the stitching of the band appeared to me to be in crisp focus.
I'm afraid some mischievous hacker has squeezed into the corners of this photo some text in electric-green, san serif font AAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!! Perhaps you should consider having them reported and banned from the site. |
