Pleasant shot to look at, with natural colors.
Background is complimentary with a natural feel and the lighting on the jewelry brought out it's colors. Detail level is good as is composition.
The title may be a bit too "cute" for advertising. (6) |

| Very appealing rendering of the jewelry itself, crisp and luminous, lacking a bit in catchlights on the facets, but the BG is REALLY working against you here, it's SO dreary. Mutes foliage, for example, might have been more inspiring. I accept that your idea may have been to show beauty arising out of dreck, but it isn't working for me at that level. |

| this for me is one of the best entries I have seen so far. the jewelry is clear, in focus and in a setting that is appropriate to the piece of jewelry, with enough texture to not be bland and is at the same time interesting without drawing attention from the piece. |

| Wow! very nice jewel you got here. I'm late in the votes but i'm sure you're scoring pretty high on this one. Composition is very nice. I feel a little unconfortable about the DOF tho. Since the item is so close to the wood, it feels wierd that its so out of focus. Also what i feel a bit wierd about is the change in ligthing towards the bottom, wish there'd be a little more light overall. 8 |

| I like the choice of colors for this image. The jewelry item jumps out nicely. Very crisp, clean image. I know it wasn't required to have text, but I think in this case the voters may drop your score a little because there isn't any text and the room for it is there. JMO. Best of luck to you. |

Composition: Excelletn!!
Lighting: very good! woud like to see more of the bevels on the top, but realize how difficult that is
Color: excellent!

Lettering: None, but you left room for any kind of advertising wording |
