Happy Hourby jdannelsComment: this is really cool, the detail in the shadow is quite amazing. you captured her in the perfect pose and angle, i wonder what time you took this, must of been late afternoon or early morning?
according to your description that this place is not quite the busiest, this picture has quite some symbolisitc meaning to it, as if a shadow, a strucureless "object", is the only thing that brings live to that place.
well done! |

well said! thanks
i want to add that the idea for this shot came to me while i was actually sitting in the upper floor of a train passing by this site, while i was just looking outside and suddenly for only a split second i spotted that exact corridor, from where i took this photo. the next second i had the perspective for this shot in my head. so for me this photo is like a mirror of a memory. sounds weird, but is true...;) |

13 - Smilingby BudComment: what an unusual perspective to portrait a smile in ones face.
i love the softness of those curves and the grain, too.
it's a pleasure to look at this image, thanks! |

Time Stand Stillby wanjunComment: wow, looks like you had her kneel on a spinning carousel. if that was not the case then how the heck did you get her face that sharp?!
anyways it's a great shot and good choice to have it monochrome |

Bouquetby BlainoComment: haha, this would be a nice shot for the current "body parts" challenge...;D
but honestly, what exactly did you try to achieve by cropping it like this? |
