Good setting, and nicely balanced. I am curious about the skin tones around her neck and the extra red splash on the left breast. Intentional? I hope you have a note on this one explaing where you were going.
Have had to bump up my original score - can't put it low just because I don't fully get it. It's still well done and we are, after all, striving for art.

High mark for a well done macro. I like the lighting and the crispness. But I would score it even higher in some other challenge, like, say, the shape challenge (?)

I keep coming back to this and I can't find anything I would change. It makes me feel exactly what I assume you intend - that a parent will put a child's simple feelings above their own. Nicely done.

Very well done. I love it as is. But I also would like to see this same shot without the rose - maybe to draw the viewer right to mom and daughter. The closeness is captivating.

Incredible. You know, if you had painted this in the 1400's, it would be considered a classic of church high-art today.
For today, it's simply beautiful. Excellent cropping, excellent framing, excellent positioning.
I give very few tens because I'm not really qualified to affect the curve like that, but this one gets it anyway.
