Day 16by thomaspeopleComment: Originally posted by citymars: I don't think they look sinister enough for this to be a sacrifice. I think they want to play ping-pong and the over-ambitious chicken is in their way. |
Actually as I was looking at it again this afternoon with krafty1, we thought it more likely that the chicken had just laid that enormous egg and collapsed there, spent, unable to move as the peeps look on in amazement.

Day-14.jpgby KenComment: Never apologize for a long post. The stories make the shot become more than a shot. We now have something invested in what we're looking at. There is life behind the pixels. This is very good. She is completely adorable.

Choicesby RetroesqueComment: Great point of view. It took me a minute to get the title, and then I went "aha" and quickly chastised myself for being typical male and thinking something completely off.
Very nice image (and I don't mean that in the typical male way...)

Curious but waryby cogeroxComment: Gotta love that shadow/hilight button. It can really save a sunshine lit backlight shot. This is really impressive - even if they aren't impressed.
Nice job.

day 16: rooftop birdby ErinMComment: I love the way the details creep in on this shot as I look. First I noticed the bird (of course), then I saw/felt the texture in the sky. Then my eye wandered to the reflection in the window. I spent some time there, trying to be sure if it's a sky over a roof-top, or maybe something else entirely. Finally I let me eyes wander around the bricks and the windows. The downspout is almost hidden in the brick clutter, but then suddenly shows up as a surprise and you think "Has that always been there?" Then the iron railings appear, first on the main window, then on the partial window to the right.
Whew. There's a lot here. Thanks for an interesting view. I enjoyed it very much.
