Blue (Rain) Dayby kendall6Comment: I like this photo. I think the wide white border does it a disservice - the picture is naturally dark, but the large white border is overpowering. |

Walking my own wayby eirasiComment: I like this. The solitude, the colors. I would like it even more if the footprints were walking away from you, but then again, that would've requred you to walk backwards to setup the shot. I think it would've conveyed the concept of independence better though. Nice shot either way. |

Spreading Her Wings by toddheadComment: Most of the children photos in this challenge are just snapshots. This one is well composed, and the lighting really adds to the photo. The subject is not just the child, but her interaction with her surroundings. Keep up the good work. |

Breaking Freeby L1Comment: One of the more interesting interpretations of independence. The ring more in the foreground is so out-of-focus that it is distracting. DOF with these macro shots are always a challenge. |
