This shot looks to have a good focus but it is rather dark. Also I prefer to have more space in front of the subject than behind it, it just seems to give the picture a better balence, imo.

Lovely shot of this wader. I would have preferred an off centre shot, but which way, I'm not sure. If the bird was on the right leaving space to move into you would have lost the disturbance of the water from its movement. On the left it would have had little space to move into. I can see why you centered it at the end of the day! Nice shot...
