At the Bottom of the Seaby alanfreedComment: The light shines a nice beam into the water. Unfortunately as well as highlighting the shell it also highlights the impurities in the water (don't know what you could have done about it though). If only water was really clear, photography would be much easier! |

Churchill’s Quandaryby MorganComment: Churchill doesn't seem to be that bothered to me!! The dog has come out fine but the bones (or whatever!) are overexposed to the point of spoling the picture. |

ANTZby sahkoComment: Nice idea but I'm not entirely sure where the focus is as none of the ants seem very sharp. The light seems to be a mix between trying to light the whole shot and just a particular area and it doesn't really seem to have done either very well. Not an easy challenge, not an easy subject but at least it's different! |

Memories of a romantic getaway ...by dimitriiComment: Obviously this was done with a slow shutter speed but how come there is no blur from moving off the bed (or is there - am I not looking close enough)? Shots like this always fascinate me, simply because I don't think my camera can do it! |

Oct. Sunby DianaComment: I hope you didn't break your camera shooting into the sun like this (and I certainly advise against using a viewfinder if you've got one - stick to the LCD). I like the way that the line from the aircraft goes through the middle of the shot but it might have been better if it could have gone exactly from one corner of the picture to the other. I never normally think about things like that until after the event though when it's normally too late (maybe you could have rotated it slightly using software and then cropped it). |

The Thinkerby TiNComment: Good to see red light (rather than white). Nice simple picture. Personally I would've prefered it if the figure were not so close to the left and bottom of the frame. |

male shadowsby adixionComment: I'm sorry, but what is pornographic about this image? Why do people have such a problem with it? Nice photo, congratulations on a relatively high placing. It's just a shame that several people unjustly marked you down. |

male shadowsby adixionComment: Nice use of negative space. I like the fact that we can't see the head, the lines of torso and legs are enough. |

Aftermathby HBunchComment: This photo is really quite disturbing (which is good for the challenge). It conveys real emotion. The contrast seems to be slightly wrong on the girls face but IMO this only adds to the feeling of the photo. The uneven lighting on the background wall only add to the focus on the girl. 9/10 |
