| Funny. I just this last week tried to photograph an ant hill in the yard. You did much better than I did. I'll have to give it to you for not only being able to see the ants but the awsome shadows. This is not as easy as people may think. "E" for effort and eight starts with "E" so that's what I'll give you. |

| Nice idea but I'm not entirely sure where the focus is as none of the ants seem very sharp. The light seems to be a mix between trying to light the whole shot and just a particular area and it doesn't really seem to have done either very well. Not an easy challenge, not an easy subject but at least it's different! |

| The focus on these ants seems a bit soft to me. The lighting works and creates really cool shadows though. The background makes the ants and the shadows stand out nicely. The angle and framing/cropping are good. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~ |

| It takes a very creative mind to come up with a shot like this. Congratulations. Had the focus been just a bit sharpet, I would have given it an 8 or a 9. My score 5. |

| Neat shot for the challenge. The shadows work well - they are larger than life! :) I would like to have seen a bit more focus/clarity though. The center ant (3rd one from each way) is slightly overexposed, and the overexposure moves up through the shot... - 7 - JB |
